Overview

I have been married to my wife, Christine, for over 39 years and have two grown up children and three granddaughters. I have been actively involved in planning wedding ceremonies for friends and assisting authorized celebrants with ceremonies prior to becoming a registered celebrant in 2008. Since that time I have conducted many weddings in different settings and they have all been exciting as couples commit themselves to each other in marriage.

I strongly believe in the life-long commitment made during a wedding ceremony between a man and a woman as defined in the Australian Marriage Act and will incorporate the most meaningful features into your individual wedding ceremony. I will assist with suggestions for vows, poems, readings, music etc but ultimately the day is yours to decide how you want to celebrate this memorable occasion.

As a committed Christian, I realize that many people want a wedding which reflects their Christian heritage whether they are getting married in a church or elsewhere. These days, many weddings are conducted in parks, on beaches and at other non-traditional locations and are just as meaningful and provide great memories. I will also perform ceremonies without any Christian content if you are not a believer and wish to have a purely secular style ceremony.

I will travel anywhere within the Melbourne metropolitan area (or country Victoria at additional cost) and will ensure your day is one to remember for the rest of your life together.

My charges are reasonable and competitive and ensure that all of the legal requirements are met, your marriage registration goes smoothly and your ceremony is just how you want it.
